In many ways, they are an excellent community event. The hype from the playerbase ramps up as everyone scampers to build ideal Splatfest Tees. Skilled and witty artists fill Inkopolis with creative posts. Valuable loot and bragging rights get placed on the line. All of these ingredients and more pool together to create a seemingly perfect recipe for the ultimate community hype machine, attracting everyone who owns the game for a once-in-a-month opportunity to celebrate and compete on a grander scale than the game sees otherwise.

Tapejara Jun 30, I think with Black Ops 3 it will start off searching for DLC but then default to the core maps if no matches are found. At least that's how it felt a few months ago when I was playing Black Ops 3 with all of map packs installed but kept getting put into games on core maps. Shao Kahn Brewing a Stew said: The matchmaking starts looking for folks with maps, and eventually you'll be stuck with the same people. Their matchmaking has always been horrible in that manner, and good forbids there's no one with DLC or it finds only 4 people then you're stuck in an empty lobby never filling up. Making maps a paid content ruins the entire experience and is only worth it when the content is new, and everyone's buying into the hype or coming back to try out the maps.

Did anyone else hit this kind of sudden end to their progress? I have a sense of what I'm doing wrong They know the alternate routes and they don't get splatted by my bombs as much.
This isn't an exhaustive list - I'm less familiar with 3DS games, though pia is definitely available for 3DS. Nintendo does provide the libraries to third-party developers but I haven't seen any third-party games using pia or NEX yet. Splatoon 2 Now that we know the basics, let's apply our knowledge to Splatoon 2!
